🧒 Kids’ Bikes
Which bike is best for my child?
We offer bikes in many sizes suitable for children of all ages. To find the right size, we recommend measuring your child’s height and using our size guide. You are always welcome to contact customer service for personal guidance.
How do I choose the right bike size?
Measure your child’s height and use our size guide. As a general rule:
- Ages 2–4: 12–14 inches
- Ages 4–6: 16 inches
- Ages 6–8: 20 inches
- Ages 8–11: 24 inches
- Ages 11+: 26 inches
What safety precautions should I take when my child is cycling?
We always recommend using an approved bike helmet. Check the brakes and tire pressure, and make sure the bike is properly adjusted and in good condition before use.
How do I maintain the bike?
Clean the bike regularly and oil the chain. Check brakes, tires, and handlebars, and tighten bolts as needed. See our maintenance guide for more tips.
Are your bikes assembled upon delivery?
No. The bikes are delivered 85% assembled. You will need to install the handlebars, pedals, and wheels – it takes about 15–25 minutes.
How often should I check the bike?
We recommend checking tire pressure, brakes, and chain once a month – especially after winter.
If the bike doesn’t fit after assembly, it cannot be returned.
🕒 99-Day Return Policy
At Børnecyklerne.dk / ChantyBikes we offer a 99-day return policy – because we want you to shop with confidence and peace of mind.
To use the return policy, the following conditions apply:

The product must be unopened, unused, and not assembled.

The packaging must be intact and in original condition.

A bike that has been assembled, used, or taken into use cannot be returned.

Once we receive and approve the item, the refund will be issued within a few days.
We always recommend contacting our customer service before returning an item to ensure a smooth and fast process.
📦 Orders and Delivery
Do you offer delivery?
Yes, we deliver all over Denmark. Delivery time is usually 3–5 business days. You can see shipping options and prices at checkout.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship to all EU countries. International shipping costs are shown at checkout.
How do I track my order?
You will receive an email with a tracking link once your order has been shipped.
What do I do if I receive a damaged bike?
Contact customer service as soon as possible with photos and a description. We will help you find a solution, such as a return or replacement.
When is the payment withdrawn from my account?
Your payment is only processed when the item is shipped. You will never be charged more than what you have approved.
Is the item in stock?
- Green label on the product → In stock (typically 1–2 business days delivery).
- Yellow label on the product → Remote stock (typically 3–7 business days delivery).
🔄 Returns and Feedback
Can I return or exchange a bike?
Yes. You have a 14-day return right from the date of delivery, as long as the product is unused and in its original packaging. Use our return form.
Who pays for the return?
If the mistake is on our part, we cover the return shipping. Otherwise, you are responsible for the return cost – bike returns cost 99 DKK.
I ordered the wrong size – what now?
Return the unused bike and order a new one. Return shipping (99 DKK) is at your own expense.
How do I leave feedback on your products?
After your purchase, you will receive an email where you can leave a review. We greatly appreciate your feedback!
🛠️ Warranty and Customer Service
Do your products come with a warranty?
Yes, all our products include a 2-year warranty covering manufacturing defects. Damage caused by incorrect use, wear, or lack of maintenance is not covered.
What do I do if I have an issue with my bike?
Email us with a description and photos, and we will assess the case and find a solution.

🔧 Assembly and Technical Questions
What if I can’t assemble the bike?
Follow the assembly instructions carefully. If you need help, contact us – we’re happy to provide additional guidance, photos, or video links.
You are responsible for assembling the bike. If you find it difficult, we recommend contacting a professional bike mechanic. This is at your own cost and responsibility.
Can you assemble the bike for me?
Yes, we offer fully assembled bikes as an add-on for 699 DKK. You can select this option when ordering, though it is only available for specific models.
What if my bike has a scratch?
A scratch can only be refunded or covered if it is discovered and documented before the bike is assembled. Always check the bike upon delivery.
Can I cancel or change my order?
If your order hasn’t shipped yet, contact us immediately. Once the package is sent, the order cannot be canceled – but you can return it after receiving it.
What if the bike is missing screws or parts?
Contact us right away if any parts are missing. We will send the missing items immediately.

Can I pay in installments?
Yes, you can choose installment payment options available at checkout.
Can I share photos of my child with their bike?

Do you offer gift cards?
Yes, you can purchase digital gift cards in various amounts – perfect for birthdays and christenings.

Do you offer quantity discounts?
Yes, for purchases of 5 or more bikes. Contact us for a customized offer.

How should the bike be stored during winter?
Store it in a dry, frost-free place – preferably indoors. Tires should not be left without air for long periods.
